It also provides a platform for Irish-American filmmakers to connect with their roots and film enthusiasts to engage with exciting new content, while also strengthening the cultural link between Ireland and the United States. Their work has been selected internationally at over 65 festivals including Tribeca Film Festival, Sitges Film Festival, Fantastic Fest; has received multiple awards at the Galway Film Fleadh; and has been nominated by the Irish Film & Television Academy. We went subterranean with bartender Connor Haught to check out Foley’s newest addition, Micx, which has been open for a couple of weeks and features — are you ready? We were pretty shocked ourselves, but there it was, a dueling piano bar as if straight out of a Las Vegas casino. As if that wasn’t entertaining enough, we got to hang out with Haught and his colleagues, who had plenty to say about Foley’s, St. Patrick’s Day and Guinness. Moreover, a lot of the staff are Irish so it is very similar to the great ones in Ireland.
